The Kauffman House Museum is the only example of a log hotel remaining in the Grand Lake area. Built in 1892, the hotel provided rustic accommodations for visitors until 1946. Today it houses many period items, such as log beds, quilts, sports equipment, clothing, kitchenware and an array of photographs. It is open daily from May 28 through to September 5 from 11am to 5pm.
