During the winter months try a different snow-related activities behind a dog sled with Vail's Mountain Mushers. Each tour is two hours long, one trip in the morning and one in the afternoon. Snacks and beverages are provided, as well as scenic views and transportation to and from the start of the trail. If they desire, clients will get a chance to drive the dog team during part of the tour.

Get pulled along the snow behind huskies with Dog Sled Rides of Winter Park. Sled tours are conducted in the winter, taking people through the wilderness of Fraser Valley area. Trips can be arranged for 25 minutes, one hour or one-and-a-half hours. In the summer, visitors are invited to tour the kennels where more than 70 dogs can be found and to learn about the sport of dog sledding.

Krabloonik Restaurant and Kennel is one of the largest dog sledding companies in the United State. Spend a couple of hours being pulled behind a team of huskies across the frozen ground in the backcountry surrounding Snowmass Village. Also available are lunch and twilight rides, which include a full meal in the cost.
